Domino's Opening Hours by City (October 2026)

Typical trading windows across the metros we cover, why the kitchen closes before the store does, and how to avoid the order that gets accepted and then cancelled.

Last updated October 2026

Weekday standard

Most stores open between 10am and 11am and close between 11pm and midnight. The lunch window is quiet, the 5pm to 7:30pm dinner rush is the busiest period of the day.

Weekend extension

Friday and Saturday closing typically pushes an hour or two later — 1am to 2am is common in urban areas, and considerably later near campuses and nightlife districts.

The order cutoff

The kitchen stops accepting orders well before the doors lock. Allow 45 minutes before posted close for delivery, 25 for carryout, or your order may be accepted and then cancelled.

Typical hours in the cities we cover

These reflect the trading windows readers report most often in each metro. Individual franchises set their own hours, so treat this as a planning guide rather than a schedule.

Why the kitchen closes before the store

A posted closing time is when the doors lock, not when the last order goes in. Making a pizza takes a few minutes, baking takes six or seven, and driving takes fifteen to twenty-five. Work backwards and a store closing at 1am needs your delivery order around 12:30.

Some systems cut off online ordering automatically at that point. Others accept the order and then the store calls to cancel, which is a worse experience for everyone. Ordering 45 minutes before close avoids the whole problem.

Holidays, weather and events

Pizza chains trade through most holidays because demand spikes when other restaurants close. Christmas Day and Thanksgiving are the main exceptions and it is a franchise decision rather than a national one.

Severe weather causes closures with very little warning, and the apps frequently lag behind the real situation. During hurricanes, ice storms and heavy snow events, treat an accepted order as provisional and keep a backup plan.

Opening hours questions

Typically 15 to 30 minutes before the posted closing time. The last pizza still needs to be made, baked and driven, so a store closing at 1am usually needs a delivery order by around 12:30. Carryout cutoffs are a little later.
