Domino's in Austin, TX — Prices, Hours & Delivery (October 2026)
A young, late-eating city where the campus stores keep the longest hours in Texas. Ordering strategy for Austin, specifically.
Last updated October 2026
Metro population approx. 975,000Austin eats late. Between the University of Texas, a large young professional population and a music scene that keeps venues busy well past midnight, this is one of the few American cities where a 1am pizza order is completely unremarkable.
The latest hours in Texas
Campus-area stores in West Campus and near downtown routinely trade to 2am on weeknights and 3am on weekends. That's not a special event schedule — that's the standard. Demand supports it, and the stores staff for it.
Worth knowing: the late window is when driver capacity is thinnest. A 1am order on a Saturday can carry a longer quote than an 8pm order on the same night, simply because fewer drivers are working. If you're ordering after midnight, build in extra time and set expectations with whoever you're feeding.
What Austin costs
Austin is the most expensive major market in Texas for chain pizza, and it has been trending that way for years. Rapid population growth pushed commercial rents up sharply, the labour market is tight, and stores have adjusted pricing accordingly. Expect to pay roughly a dollar more than Dallas and closer to two dollars more than San Antonio on an identical order.
It's still cheaper than California or the Northeast. But the days of Austin being a cheap food city are behind us, and pizza pricing reflects that as much as anything else.
Traffic and the I-35 problem
Austin's road network never caught up with its growth, and the I-35 corridor is the pinch point. Deliveries that cross the highway during rush hour take dramatically longer than deliveries that stay on one side of it. If your address is east of I-35 and the nearest store is west, you may find a slightly further store on your own side actually delivers faster.
South Congress and the downtown core get genuinely gridlocked during festival weeks. SXSW in March and ACL in October both produce multi-day periods where central delivery quotes balloon. Locals plan around it; visitors get caught out.
Student market dynamics
West Campus is dense, young and price-sensitive, which makes it the metro's most promotional area. Student discounts, late-night offers and aggressive carryout pricing all concentrate there. If you're near campus, you have access to some of the best value in the city.
The trade-off is volume. During term time, weekend evenings in West Campus are among the busiest ordering windows anywhere in Texas.
Local ordering tips for Austin

- After midnight, fewer drivers are working, so late quotes can exceed dinner-rush quotes. Plan accordingly.
