Bread twists are the same dough as your pizza, shaped differently and treated better. That's not a criticism — it's why they work. Fresh pizza dough is good bread, and when it's baked without a heavy topping load it gets to develop a proper crust and an open, chewy interior.
The garlic butter goes on after baking, which matters. Applied before, the garlic would scorch in the oven and turn bitter. Applied after, it soaks into the hot surface and stays sweet and aromatic. Parmesan is dusted on top of the butter so it adheres.
The most reliable side on the menu
If you're ordering for a group with unknown preferences, bread twists are the safest bet available. No allergen surprises beyond wheat and dairy, no heat, no strong flavours, and they're finished by children and adults alike. They also arrive intact more reliably than almost anything else — there's nothing to go soggy or slide around in the box.
Value
Genuinely good, particularly as a deal add-on. At a discounted add-on price these are among the cheapest ways to add real volume to an order. At full menu price they're fine but not remarkable — you're paying a few dollars for a portion of dough that costs the store very little.
Making them better
Ask for extra marinara. One dip cup runs out around the fifth twist and the second cup usually costs under a dollar. If your store offers a garlic dipping sauce, that's worth trying too — it doubles down rather than contrasting, which some people prefer.
These reheat exceptionally well. A few minutes in an oven or air fryer and they're indistinguishable from fresh, which is more than can be said for most delivery food.
